A busy start to the New Year here at The Cuckoo’s Nest. We’ve been re-organising the workshop and planning Framing and Painting jobs for the next few months, its going to be a very busy 2015…

Here’s something we worked on last year, but didn't have a chance to post with the Christmas rush. Some amazing F1 memorabilia, two car wings and F1 Champion, Sebastian Vettel's racing suit! 

Chunky black frames & floated white over black mounts set off these fantastic collectibles. The last photo shows one of the crates we packed these pieces in before shipping them off to Italy. All arrived safely and in time for Christmas ;)

Formula One - Memorabilia

 

This was a really fun project to work on. We've got a full set of Parc Ferme passes from the 2012 formula one race season. Each car gets a pass when the cars are held in the paddock between qualifying and race day, these were attached to one of the Caterham cars and there's one for all 20 races last year. So a very rare collectable from the world of F1 :-)

We also have a couple of photos, one of the car and one of the driver and his engineer. We mounted these side by side with the passes floated within the main mount around the edge. Lots of carefull mount cutting required but well worth the effort :-)
